The application is for the establishment of a "Residential 2" township at a density of 20 du/ha. The application will permit Dwelling units, Social Hall as well as a Mini Cafeteria for the residents.

Please give suggestions of how people can object or comment.
  • It is close to a wetland, so we have to be careful that there is no impact. See the blue lines in the pictures.
  • Sewerage has to be addressed, because 20 units per hectare is a lot more than the current 2 units per hectare. 
  • They have to take the Road Master Plan into account. See the Yellow lines in the pictures.
  • Glen Austin has a rural residential character and future development should be sensitive to this "Green Lung" character.
  • Allowing one development like this, sets a precedent and similar developments will be encouraged. 
  • Whatever you write include the following statement: I reserve my rights to add to my objections and comments as more information comes to light.
