- This area was earmarked for commercial development, before the Gautrain development, which has cut this property off from direct access to the Old Pretoria Road. This area lies now within a gated residential community where people ride bikes, walk their dogs etc.
- Warehousing is not suitable for a gated residential community. because there will be an increased amount of trucks driving through this area.
- There is a school close by this proposed development. Having trucks coming past the school entry, creates an extra safety hazard to the well being of the children.
- There will be an increased wear and tear on the roads that were not designed for heavy vehicles.
- There will be further demands on the water supply that is already weak in this area.
- There is no sewerage line in this area, which will create a problem for the increase of people on the property.
- The company will need to comply with creating porous surface for parking to ensure the rain water can drain away properly.
